Rocket Racing Wheels has teamed up with Nelson Competition Products to deliver a beautiful Booster Chrome Wheel set for Project X360 at SEMA 2010. "I had the chance to meet David Coker at the SEMA 2009 show and I was in love with his booster wheel. I noticed it from 5 booths away and the shine really caught my attention." said Tad Nelson "I knew this would be the right wheel as soon as I saw it. David has been around the tire business for many years.” Hailing from Chattanooga, Rocket Performance Machine, Inc. (RPM) recently launched Rocket Racing Wheels™, a brand reminiscent of the 1960s era. This is a relaunching of the Rocket Racing Wheel brand, which was popular on 1960’s muscle cars then subsequently died out. RPM has brought that nostalgia back and it will be shown in all its glory on the Project X360 1969 Rally Sport Camaro. Project X360 will be sporting Rocket Booster Chrome 18” front wheels
and 20” rear wheels. “The 18/20 combination is a great wheel setup for any first generation Camaro. It helps set the perfect stance for the car. We will be able to fill the wheel well and make the car still look like a mean muscle car. Not only were David’s wheels perfect for my project, but he was able to tell me what size treads to use with my application. That’s great information for anyone building a car. You can spend a lot of money trying to get the right tires to match your wheel and car.”
